Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with this website.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to this website. It does not extend to information provided to the chambers by any other means, such as by telephone, email or in person.
Information You Provide
When you use the enquiry form on the Contact page, the chambers receives the information you choose to enter, which may include your name, telephone number, email address, subject and message.
On submission, this information is transmitted to the chambers by email. It is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not sold, and it is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Email Delivery
Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered using Resend, an email delivery provider, acting on the instructions of the chambers. The contents of an enquiry pass through that provider's systems solely in order to be delivered, and are retained by the chambers in its email records.
Information Collected Automatically
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
The only browser storage used is a single local flag, saved on your own device, that records whether you have acknowledged the website disclaimer so that it is not shown to you again on the same device. This flag is not transmitted to the chambers or to any third party.
Third-Party Content
The Contact page includes a map, provided by Google, showing the office location. Loading this map may allow Google to place cookies or collect information in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. Apart from that map and the email delivery provider described below, no other third-party services are used on this website.
Confidential and Privileged Information
Please do not send confidential or privileged information through the enquiry form, email or telephone until the chambers has confirmed that no conflict of interest exists and a formal engagement is in place. Submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, create an advocate-client relationship.
Retention and Security
The chambers takes reasonable measures to protect information you provide, and retains it only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or as otherwise required by law.
Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this website is the version currently in effect.
